Rant – Best Rant of 2012
This man was upset about being harassed by a police officer for using colorful language in a park. I’m not condoning what he did but his rant to Mark Sidrine (spelling?), the arresting officer, is inspiring and surprisingly safe for work.

T’is the season to of giving and apparently these women took that a little too literally. They were caught stealing lawn ornaments for Christmas and putting them in their own just a few blocks away.

Yeah, I’m not totally surprised that Aliens was translated into an ice-capade. I’m more upset that I haven’t seen this yet.

Nothing says classy like winning a contest to have your wedding at a Wal-Mart. I love the woman who decided she was going to keep her routine and use the scooter.

Role Model – Mayor uses tank to crush car
In an admitted publicity stunt, the mayor of a Lithuania town used his power to set an example of the type of high-class shenanigans he would no longer tolerate. To prove his point, he crushed a car using a tank that was parked in the bike lane of his town. More here.

Fact Check – Smart Texan gets home for $16
This Texan figured out a legal loophole that would allow his legal form of squatting to claim a home that went through foreclosure. In 3 years if no one can get him out through some legal papers, he can have the $330k home for the $16 it took to file his documentation. Smart man.

Role Model – Redneck Dad
So people catch random stuff happening to strangers all the time, but it’s a rare thing to see your actual father perform daring feats of internet stupidity, like riding his lawnmower to Sonic for a soda. But who am I to judge? Soda from the restaurant is better than from the fridge.
