Anyone who already knows of M.I.A. knows she is pretty political in her statements and an advocate for peace in Sri Lanka. Her latest video, a 9 minute ultra-violent NSFW piece, paints a picture of a world where brutal police are singling out gingers in a manner similar to Nazis and the Jews. It does raise the question of whether she is trying to show a mirror to the world of how we have still not overcome these simple prejudices in our own world or if she is merely trying to stir up some sensationalism. You decide.
