Tech Jargon – G-Speak is close

A truly interactive user interface has long been the fantasy of many a nerd. Using actual hand gestures that are interpreted into commands isn’t something that’s necessarily new, however most systems are structured around very rigid interpretation and often only works with specific scenarios, much like most of Apple’s product presentations.

However, this latest video on G-Speak has caught my eye as a vision headed in the right direction. The group behind this was also the same team involved with the concept development and visual interpretation of the futuristic interfaces for “Minority Report”, which I must say was one of the redeeming qualities of that film. Enjoy the video.
