So this is part of an art exhibit called Doing it for the Kids. It’s supposed to showcase the lastest innovation in toy designs. This is one of the pieces they had. Picture after the jump. A crafty alternative for … Continue reading
I am very pleased with this find and it’s finder, Anna Breedlove, who actually purchased this gift for a friend on Christmas this year. It’s an ice tray that creates the icebergs and ships from the fateful event. Celebrate every … Continue reading
I saw this video a bit before earlier this year, and while I was impressed with it the first time, it didn’t quite strike me. After viewing it a second time, I can say the story is very elegant. The … Continue reading
I realize many people haven’t had the opportunity to see this. This was the music video Heath Ledger was working on when he passed away. They had just finished the storyboarding when he passed away and apparently the rest was … Continue reading
A surreal 3D animation with a message about animal cruelty, this video is short and sweet with a very dark mood to it. You might not enjoy it as much as I did. Lucky from EB Hu on Vimeo.
I have been unable to find a source in English for this video, but it’s really fun and high energy, as well as a solid animation. Do enjoy.
So there are tons of videos I could post with Patton Oswalt that are just fantastic, but I did happen upon a rant he has about the “Christmas Shoes” holiday song. I have to admit I am equally pained by … Continue reading
Alma is a 3D short directed by Rodrigo Blass. It’s a little strange, especially given the light-hearted approach, but the quality speaks for itself. All the sounds were perfectly crisp going along with the cleverly constructed 3D designs. It’s won … Continue reading
So a group from a country whose alphabet I can’t begin to decipher created an awesome short using the hypothetical question that I’m sure has haunted at least a few of the hardcore gamer nerds: If Pacman fought Mario, who … Continue reading
People tend to watch their weight. Every morning a majority of America stands on their scale to either motivate them to work harder or feel bad for themselves. Many people don’t even like to weight (that’s a fat pun) around … Continue reading
So this isn’t totally a WTF or anything, but I did laugh at this technical goof and how it was presented. Makes me laugh to think of how we have already unintentionally developed racist software.
I was shown this song when I was growing up, and while I can’t find the original, this version isn’t bad. The artist is Mark McCollum.
This one is less laugh-out-loud and more what-the-feck? It’s concept and delivery are only matched by the way the man awkwardly stares at the camera as if to say, “Good God. Please don’t air this ANYWHERE.”
I finally found a clip of Impossible is Nothing that is still active. This was a huge hit in 2006 but has since been removed from just about all the video hosts. Surprisingly, Yahoo Video has it. Apparently no one … Continue reading
This is kind of a two-fer. Firstly, this is YouTube Doubler. You can play two Youtube videos simultaneously. Now you might wonder what in God’s name you would use that for? Fortunately, I have already found a spectacular example of … Continue reading
So you’re baby is cute. So you have 400 pictures of it. But you know what? It’s still bald. Your baby has practically no hair on it’s head. Don’t get me started on trying to do anything with that clump … Continue reading
This is a local commercial for Central Florida’s Zoo and Botanical Gardens. It highlights the most universal characteristic of all living creatures, the need to go. It’s slightly gross, so if this isn’t your kind of cupcake, the poo-flavored one, … Continue reading
I would buy a box of these things if I knew where they were sold. I find this to be quite a fascinating brand of advertising, one that really projects a certain tone and seriousness to their cause. Because who … Continue reading
This is for all fans of Left 4 Dead, particularly the sequel Left 4 Dead 2. Hopefully you can enjoy this.
